OUR DANCE PROGRAM

We offer fun and energetic dance classes for boys and girls aged 5-12 years. The classes are interactive, engaging, full of catchy tunes kids love, with age-appropriate moves and fun dance games.

Our dance classes will suit those kids, who:

• want to learn dance skills, improve coordination, fitness, spatial and body awareness and/or,
• want to improve dance skills for rhythmic gymnastics

Based on our experience, adding a dance class to our RG program has proven to be amazingly beneficial. It will help improve many skills that are important for rhythmic gymnastics and overall for girls’ confidence, such as coordination of body movements, spatial awareness, musicality, rhythm, performance skills and confidence, improvisation and creativity.

DANCE STYLES

Our dance students learn a variety of dance styles from around the world: Pop, Jazz, Hip-hop, Salsa, Funk, Bollywood and many more. All dances are specially choreographed for each age group, each term, with fun-to-learn, age-appropriate dance movements.

The aim of our classes is for children to gain the ability to move to any beat and music, feel free and confident in their bodies and be able to create their own moves and combinations.

DANCE STARS GROUPS

LITTLE STARS 
For 3-5 years: preschool children (classes for 2019 TBA).

RISING STARS 
For 5-7 years: Kindy, Year 1 and Year 2.

BIG STARS 
For 7-12 years: Year 2 to Year 6.

No experience is necessary to enrol in our dance classes. All children are expected to be able to stay and participate in their dance class without parents. New Little Stars students may have their parents watching their first 2 classes.

END OF YEAR PERFORMANCE

All our dancers are invited to participate in our concert for parents at the end of each year (usually held in November).

This is a perfect opportunity to watch your children showcasing their talents and skills developed throughout the year. The concert is a wonderful event for everyone involved! Moreover, it enhances students’ confidence, self-esteem and performance skills. This a must-see event!
