This class provides a fun, nurturing and supportive environment for young girls to safely improve their range of motion.
Stretching techniques and exercises include splits and back stretching, with supervision from experienced and accredited Gymnastics NSW coaches.
Why stretches are important:
For children, stretches should be part of an overall, daily physical activity routine. Even though flexibility often seems to come naturally to children, their muscles may become tight, especially during growth spurts, and stretching can help.
Safely enhance your flexibility or master your back extensions, front and side splits, using our effective rhythmic gymnastics-styled training program. Our Advanced flexibility class is the perfect accompaniment to intermediate and advanced dance, ballet and rhythmic gymnastics programs!
Our flexibility programs include great exercises to help gymnasts build a strong and flexible body. An excellent conditioning program will encourage fitness, with a focus on learning amazing rhythmic gymnastics skills in a safe and supportive environment.
